Cutting Boards and Butcher Blocks are custom made for 'you' the customer. Below are but a few examples of boards that we have created. If you want one of these boards just contact us with the details of what you need. We'll be happy to work with you.

Most of our Cutting Board /  Butcher Block is done via custom order. If you have a particular size, shape or color in mind send it to us and we would be most happy to get you a quote. Please allow up to 30 days for the larger size boards. Smaller boards will normally be ready in around 2 weeks.

Plastic or Wood?? The debate has continued for years. Which one is the safest to use for food preparation. If your interested let us know and we will gladly provide you with a document about a study done at the university of Wisconsin showing that Wood is far superior to plastic in preventing bacterial contamination of food.

Jalapeņo Cutting Board This cutting board was requested by a local customer. We have made this as a custom order item for that customer. Perhaps you would like something similar??? This board is made up of 1/2" of Red Curly Oak sandwiched between two 3/8" layers of Black Walnut with an African Padauk stem coming out of the Jalapeņo. The board is sturdy enough for just about any cutting job ahead of you. In order to get the grain stability for this shape we start out with a 14"x12" cutting board. Because of the shape your actual cutting area is much smaller of course. There is still plenty of room for a small veggie, cheese or other cutting job. We should charge more but for the time being these boards and any others that 'we choose' to accept from you will be  billed at our normal .55 cents per square inch. At our normal rate this board would run you $99 as seen in the picture. 	Large Edgegrain Cutting Board This sturdy built board features tight grained domestic woods. As seen in the photos it has been produced from American Cherry, Rock Maple and Maple with slight accents of Curly Figured Maple in places. This board comes to you pretreated with our own formulation of Butcher Block Oils.  Rest easy as we use only 'food safe' glues and finishes, as recognized by the FDA.   This boards true beauty can't be captured with a camera [at least not by us]. It was deep violet purple [all natural colors] mixed with various  natural earth tones in the other woods. Woods used where Purple Heart, Walnut, Oak, PA Cherry, Rock Maple, Maple and Red Heart.
